Does this replace me as the host?

No. It handles the repetitive messages (check-in times, WiFi, parking, house rules) so you're only involved when something genuinely needs you. When it doesn't know an answer, it asks you directly on WhatsApp and learns the answer for next time.

Can guests tell it's a bot?

It replies in your property's voice, in the guest's own language, using real booking data, so conversations read as informed rather than scripted. We don't claim it's a human, and you can take over the conversation yourself at any time.

What happens if it doesn't know an answer?

It doesn't guess. It tells the guest it's checking, messages you on WhatsApp, relays your answer back, and saves it to that property's knowledge base, including 'we don't have that', so the same question is answered instantly for every future guest.

Does it work with my channel manager?

Smoobu is fully supported today. Lodgify, Beds24 and Hostaway are next on the roadmap. You keep the channel manager you already use. There's no migration and no new system to run your properties in. If you use a different channel manager, get in touch: we can talk about a custom integration.

Is my data secure?

Yes. Everything is stored and processed in secure cloud data centers located in Europe, and all data is encrypted. Your guest conversations are never used to train our AI, and card details never touch our systems, because payments are handled entirely by Stripe's secure checkout.

Do you share my data with third parties?

Your data is never sold or used for marketing, and it's never used to train third-party AI models. It's only shared with the small number of service providers needed to actually run the platform (e.g. WhatsApp, payments), each under a data protection agreement.

What languages does it speak?

Text conversations happen in your guest's own language automatically, with no setup from you. Voice notes are understood in multiple languages, including English, Spanish, Italian, French and German, with automatic language detection.

Can it take payments for a longer stay?

Yes. If a guest asks to extend, it checks real availability, shows the open nights, sends a price breakdown recalculated on our servers, and sends a secure Stripe payment link. The booking updates automatically once the payment clears.

Minutes. Sign-up is self-service, so nobody has to call or email you first. You connect your channel manager and connect WhatsApp in one click from your dashboard. As a Meta Tech Provider, we handle the Meta side, so there's no developer account or API keys for you to create.
